Y4 OSmADw weekly roundup
25 June 2021 (by Olivia Smith (olivia.smith))
We are so proud of how hard the children have worked this week. They have done lots of assessments and have taken it all in their stride. They have been very mature and given every assessment their best effort, well done everyone! The children have begun looking at the religion of Hinduism this week. They learned that there are several Holy Books and their names. Today was the start of the maths topic of 3D shape. I was impressed with how much the children already knew about these shapes. They tackled some tricky problems which required a lot of resilience. Today’s highlight was the first lesson of making Anderson Shelters. We have a very creative class! The children worked well as a team to support each other in their projects and came up with some creative uses for a variety of materials. Thank you for your support in providing resources, it is much appreciated. Please check out the gallery for DT action shots! Have a restful weekend.
